TRUE PEACE

Luke 12:51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth?  I tell you, Nay; but rather division.

In these times of world crisis, people force themselves to find peace.  There are all kinds of conferences, chats, treaties and marches in an attempt to find peace.

What is our attitude towards these matters?  Do we search for a world peace?

The truth is this is a very controversial issue, on one hand we would like to be in a peaceful place where “war” is an unknown word, but on the other hand, there is the reality that exists since the beginning of time.  What do we read in the word of God?  What does it tell us about history?

There have always been wars and for us they will continue until the glorious day when our Lord comes for us.

How can there be peace among the nations if amidst our own houses there is no peace?
Is it possible for the entire world to unite in peace when inside us there are terrible battles between the new creature and the old man?

The truth is that the world is enmity with God because “the prince of this world” is an enemy of God. Can there be peace on earth?

This is what the verse is talking about.  Christ came to save us, make us brothers and sisters, and to make us children of the Celestial Father.  By this process we are enemies of the world, and because of this the world hates us.

Have you seen how many recently converted are hindered by their own non-believing relatives?  This is sad but true. “… son against the father, daughter in-law against mother in-law…”

This is what the word talks about.  This is the spiritual battle that we all fight, day after day.
So then, what is the true peace?

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.  Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

This is the one and only true peace, which Christ gave us.  The verse in Luke tells us of a human peace, of a peace that is gestured among man.  This is false and deceitful, and it ends as soon as we lose our patience.
But the peace that the Lord gave to his people is the true peace and is in the heart of every son and daughter of God.
Peace with God, since we no longer are of this world; peace in the heart since we know we have been saved and freed from condemnation; peace in all things, feeling protected by His infinite power.

Not like the world that says peace and there is no peace.

Are you going through a tough time, are you under pressure with problems?

Don’t be afraid; don’t lose Faith, look within your self for this peace.  Don’t feel anguished, live the new life that Jesus gave you.  Rest in His peace.  He will hold you fast.

It is great to go forward, not fainting since Christ is with you; what father abandons his son to luck, and if there were someone who would do that, our God and Father would never do this.

You are important to him; He gave his only Son to save you.
If saving your soul cost Him his Son, how could He not remember you in your times of anguish?

Meditate on these things so you don’t fall.

May God bless you…

One mediator

1Timothy 2:5

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

If I ask you: How is your situation with God…? what is your relationship with him…? What would you respond?
Many people answer this question affirmatively saying:- IT IS VERY WELL.

But if you ask a second question: Are you a repented sinner with a heart cleansed by the blood of Jesus… with a new life, given by God? In this case the answer is no longer a sure one because in general people don’t know the function of Christ as MEDIATOR between God and man. Without Him there is no possible relationship.

There is no communion between natural man and sin, with a Holy God. There is a deep valley that separates both and is IMPOSSIBLE TO CROSS, unless there is a BRIDGE which unites them: JESUS CHRIST.

We can’t say that we are ok with a person that lives in another hemisphere, and that we never knew. In this way, anyone that does not know the work of salvation that Christ did on the cross cannot affirm that they are "ok with God". Actually they would be…"very far" from God.

Because of this, our situation with God is not what our carnal minds create erroneously, now that human nature is to try to invent a nonexistent communion with God… so then the question to God our Creator: "Am I ok with you?" which would never have been thought of, is answered.
If we want to truly go to God let’s put attention to the words of Christ:

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

No one can come unto God the Father, unless they go through God the Son.
Jesus Christ possess in His encarnation, the double nature of divinity and human. This constitutes the only mediator between God and men.
His expiatory sacrifice in the cross on mount Calvary spilling His blood all because of his love for us. No person can get close to God unless they accept the sacrifice of Christ, ask forgiveness for their sins and believe with faith in the MEDIATOR. I AM THE WAY SAID CHRIST: No one can go that way as long as they continue carrying the same sins, with a heart that has not repented.

They that think they are self-sufficient and do not need to change their lives, don’t use the safe and sure way of Christ the MEDIATOR. All our sins before Jesus are undone, and we begin to follow the new path of sanctification, of spiritual life, and communion with God.!
Because of this let’s not deceive ourselves: we cannot get to God by our own means… but rather we should utilize the path of salvation that He proposes by His word, the Bible.Jesus Christ man, with a hand grasping in Heaven God and with the other grasping man on the earth, is the MEDIATOR of humanity.

Poor lost human creatures! What would they do without a MEDIATOR!
Who would save them from death and hell!
Grab hold of the hand of Christ and feel His holiness and His love… deliver your life unto Him!
I ask you again: How are you with God?

I hope you response is: Now I am well… Jesus Christ is my MEDIATOR!

Hebrews 9:15
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

ETERNAL LOVE

Jeremiah 31:3 … I have loved thee with an everlasting love…

Before the beginning of life…

Before the formation of this world…

When the universe was only a project in mind of God…

God loved human beings.

How can this be so? Can someone love someone else before knowing him or her?

Certainly the power of God and His wisdom is so great, that He “knew us” even before He created us.

And not only that, He also knew man was going to sin and disobey Him. His creation that He created with so much love was going to rebel against HIM!

If this is how it happened… why did God decide to create man in spite of all that man was going to do?

It was because of His eternal love.

Love that not only planned every detail of the creation of this world, but also planned the way to rescue and save man from man’s destruction and death, the product of man’s disobedience.

Could He have avoided creating us and retaining His love?
How could such grand love manifest itself if there was no creation to be the “object of that love”?

That’s why the love of God shows its sublime manifestation in “the cross of Christ”.

The death of Christ on the cross was not an accidental work, nor an improvised plan of God to face the condition of sin and perdition of man.

Before creating us, God assumed that sacrifice. Before being “creator” He was “savior”.

But in addition, we see a marvelous detail:
Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

This verse reveals to us that the “love of God” was not a general love without knowing each individual creation, but rather an “election”, in other words a personal love. He knew us by name since eternity, and He loved us individually too.

Dear reader what is your name? Add your name to the God’s declaration: “…I have love thee with an everlasting love…”

Have you thought about how much God loves you? Have you contemplated the perfect work of the love that Jesus manifested on the cross, dieing for your sins?

No human being can comprehend the enormous magnitude of the love of God… but in spite of this, He hopes that you will receive His love in your heart and in this way, begin to know Him.

Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Rejecting this eternal love brings with it “eternal perdition”, but if we receive this love, we will be beneficiaries of an “eternal life”.

GOD SAYS
I have loved thee with an eternal love… how can you ignore a love like that?
